- Film Grove is accepting and reviewing screening links for short and feature film submissions for its streaming channel through it's VUULR portal.
- Submissions to our online film festival are currently closed. Check back here for submission dates.
Submission Criteria
All films will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Story
- Premise
- Theme
- Subject matter
- Pacing
- Characters and Characterization
- Diversity of Characters
- Cinematography
- Directing
- Dialogue
Rules
- All entries must have been produced in between 2016 to 2021.
- More than one entry may be submitted. Each entry must be submitted separately.
- Films produced in languages other than English must have legible English subtitles or be dubbed in English.
- Entrants are responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses, royalties, release forms, clearances, and permits necessary to present their work.
- If your work is selected, you must fulfill the following requirements by the date(s) designated by Film Grove:
- You must execute a release agreement wherein you: (i) accept responsibility for obtaining any and all clearances and releases necessary to exhibit your film on the Film Grove channel, (ii) warrant that you have the rights necessary to exhibit your film to the public; and (iii) indemnify and hold harmless Film Grove, its parent company, its affiliates, and subsidiaries and any of their respective directors, officers, employees, and representatives against any claim arising out of exhibition of your film on the Film Grove channel.
- You must deliver in a manner designated by Film Grove an exhibition copy of the invited work.
- You must provide a properly completed and signed official Film Grove “Acceptance Agreement Form” and all publication assets as specified in the “Materials Checklist.”
